Recycling Australia's industrial waste
The vast majority of waste generated from the manufacture of plastic food & beverage packaging is either exported or makes its way to Australian landfill. Circle Polymers is committed to Australia's circular economy , committed to finding ways of eliminating, recycling or re-purposing plastic waste.
Our focus
Initially, we're focusing on ways to re-purpose primarily APET, which is the main polymer used in the food and beverage industry due to its functional properties, clarity and high levels of recyclability.
Goals
In the first year of operation, we're aiming to save the equivalent of 500 shipping containers of industrial plastic waste from being exported to primarily, low socio-economic countries. We believe this practice offers no incentive to Australian industry to find economic means of dealing with plastic waste
